Western Colorado bands, food venues, and production companies came out in force Sunday to show their support for a local musician battling cancer. The Avalon Theatre in downtown Grand Junction was the place to be for an awesome concert supporting Bad Bob Walker.

As of mid-October, Bad Bob is roughly midway through his chemo treatments. With months of chemo treatments behind him, and the better part of two months to go, Bad Bob's medical expenses have gone through the roof.

Several local artists, as well as sound techs from Snob Productions and employees from A Taste of Heaven Catering, joined forces for one huge fundraising show. Admission was free, with donations accepted at the door.

Several performers including Gerry Goodman, John Brown, Larry Caskey, Soul Habit, and more, came out to show their support.

If you are new to the valley, you'll soon discover this is the way we roll. We take care of our people around this town. Events such as this are not at all uncommon around these parts. Stay in touch for more awesome shows and opportunities to support those in the valley.
