Every now and then, something really unique lands on Etsy from sellers in Grand Junction. This is one of those times. Check out this rare 1950's era postcard of Mesa College.

Here's the description from the store:

1950s Vintage postcard of Mesa College is in excellant condition. It has very little scuffing on the rounded corners and very fine scratching on the photo. Someone wrote lightly on the back in pencil.

Some background on the school:
Founded in 1925, the school started as a junior college enrolling 41 students. It was in 1937 that it was renamed to Mesa College. In 1988 the school went through another renaming process and became Mesa State College. Finally in 2011 the name was changed to Colorado Mesa University.

The asking price is only $1.50. Sounds like a bargain to me for some sweet Grand Junction/CMU history.
