Wake Up, Ron Burgundy – The Lost ‘Anchorman’ Movie

Anchorman with Will Ferrell was a hilarious movie from 2004, if by some chance you haven't watched it you really need to. If you have seen Anchorman you're probably really looking forward to Anchorman: The Legend Continues, but have you seen Anchorman 1.5?

You're probably thinking, 'What the hell is Anchorman 1.5?' I will give you a heads up and then you can watch it for yourself. Apparently Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy had enough sub-plot material and alternate takes that there was enough to make a 'companion' movie, Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie.

The movie went straight to DVD in 2004 and is available with Anchorman box sets plus the Anchorman Blu-ray 'Rich Mahogany Edition'. The Channel 4 News Team investigates The Alarm Clock, a group robbing banks. Of course their is the continuing competition between Ron Burgundy and Veronica Corningstone.

I had no idea this film existed and took 90 minutes out of my weekend to watch it and definitely laughed my ass off. With Anchorman: The Legend Continues not due to shoot until spring 2013 and come out later in the year this is a great movie to fill the void, and time, until then.
