Victim Identified in Sunday’s Shooting in Clifton
The Mesa County Coroner has identified the victim in the shooting that occurred Sunday (November 16) in Clifton.
The victim has been identified as 15-year-old Brandon Crawford.
The Coroner's report states that Crawford died from a gunshot wound to the chest. The manner of death is being considered a homicide.
Witnesses to the shooting have been identified, including the shooter. There appears to be no malicious intent and the person believed to be the shooter is being cooperative with investigators.
