European Stunt Men Fly Into Rio de Janeiro in Wing Suits
Two European stuntmen, Jokke Sommer and Ludovic Woerth put on their “wingsuits” and took a death-defying leap into Rio. This is nothing new for the Frenchman and Norwegian; they have flown their “wingsuits” all over the globe, but this time they wanted to fly into a city of 6.3 million. The jump took place at 5:45am when the streets where relatively dead and 20 minutes before the first flights leave the city.
Like a pair of flying squirrels the men soared from above Rio de Janeiro and skimmed between the Ventura Corporate Towers. The towers are a 460-foot-tall building separated by a slim 26 foot gap. Had they missed the mark “Splat” just like a juicy bug hitting your windshield at 80mph on the highway.
