Over the weekend, we caught our best look yet at the seventh and final season of HBO's 'True Blood' with a sizzling new trailer that put all of Bon Temps in jeopardy from the Hep-V vampires. Now, our first full poster for the 10-episode goodbye tour has arrived, and to say the least, it's a bit anemic.

Getting directly to the point, the first 'True Blood' season 7 poster co-opts the show's usual "Waiting Sucks" tagline to something a little more apropos of the final season, "Goodbyes Suck" ... with puncture holes ... over a white background. We expect there will be more posters to come, but come on, guys, how about a little red for color's sake? Where's the panache?

We know of ‘True Blood’ season 7 that Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) will indeed return, despite a seemingly fiery end teased in the season 6 finale. Anna Camp’s Sarah Newlin will return, likely battling a new Japanese cowboy villain played by ‘The Wolverine’ co-star Will Yun Lee, and joining ’90210′ alum Riley Smith and Nathan Parson, who replaces Luke Grimes in the role of James. Storytelling will shrink to see more direct human-vampire relationships in light of the Hepatitis V threat, while more details and series regular ascensions have been outlined in our guide to ‘True Blood”s final season.

The seventh and final season of HBO’s ‘True Blood’ will premiere on Sunday, June 22, so sink your teeth into the poster below, and tell us what you want to see from year seven in the comments!
