It seems a little odd that Mitt Romney's 2012 Vice Presidential pick is a fan of Rage Against The Machine. What isn't odd is that Tom Morello has decided to call out Paul Ryan as 'anti-Rage'.

The guitarist for Rage Against The Machine told Rolling Stone Paul Ryan is, "the embodiment of the machine our music rages against." Paul Ryan has said he doesn't like the actual lyrics to Rage Against The Machine songs just the 'sound'. Tom Morello has compared his taste in music to Charles Manson calling him "clueless about his favorite band." Tom Morello says, "Basically the only thing he's not raging against is the privileged elite he's groveling in front of for campaign contributions."

The guitarist admits that the band's music affects people differently saying,

"Some tune out what the band stands for and concentrate on the moshing and throwing elbows in the pit. For others, Rage has changed their minds and their lives. Many activists around the world, including organizers of the global occupy movement, were radicalized by Rage Against the Machine and work tirelessly for a more humane and just planet. Perhaps Paul Ryan was moshing when he should have been listening."

I'm pretty sure Tom Morello isn't the only one wondering what Paul Ryan's favorite Rage Against The Machine track is.
