The Todd La Torre-led version of Queensryche is moving quickly toward the June 11 release of their as-yet-untitled new album and fans are now getting their first taste of new music with the single 'Redemption.'

The rocking track features La Torre's powerful vocals and was co-written by the singer along with Queensryche guitarist Michael Wilton. The band recently finished laying down the cut, with famed Queensryche producer James "Jimbo" Barton handling the mixing and mastering.

The La Torre-led Queensryche are currently on the road, wrapping up the first leg of dates on the 'Return to History World Tour.' The trek concludes March 30 in Uncasville, Conn., but the group will continue their journey in Canada and Europe next month, before playing a handful of summer U.S. festivals. Their remaining itinerary can be seen below.

'Redemption' is the first track the band has released since naming Todd La Torre as their new frontman last year. The current lineup finds La Torre taking over for Geoff Tate, with guitarists Michael Wilton and Parker Lundgren, bassist Eddie Jackson and drummer Scott Rockenfield rounding out the group.
