This week’s Friday fails is all about the holistic training ‘Parkour’ that was developed in France in the late 1980’s. The aim of this type of training is to get from point ‘A’ to point ‘B’ in the quickest and most efficient way possible.

If you watch the ‘American Ninja’ show at all they talk about this type of training for some of the contestants. They run through courses climbing, swinging, vaulting and using any type of movement for a given situation.

When I was growing up we just called it running from the cops but now is becoming a real sport with competitions and event around the world. I have seen people who can really do this and it is pretty cool but these people need a bit more training.
