If you're a Star Wars or Spielberg fan, I hope you have your ticket. The Avalon Theater will rock Saturday night. Not with blazing guitars or banging drums but with the amazing sounds of the popular movie scores of all time!

This concert Saturday night January 7th will be a truly once-in-a-lifetime event. Whether it’s the powerful soundtrack from Star Wars, the score from Superman or the adventures of Indiana Jones, there is nothing that compares to the genius of John Williams.

I know many of you rock fans are fans of these movies. If so, hearing these amazing scores in person will put you right back in the theater where you experienced these films for the first time.

This guy's the master (no pun intended). He studied at Juilliard. Worked as a jazz pianist and studio musician before he started composing for TV and films. His career blew up in the 1970s working on blockbusters including Jaws, E.T., and Schindler's List. Almost all of Spielberg's films have Williams scores; besides those previously noted, Jurassic Park, Catch Me If You Can, Munich and Lincoln. Williams also composed the music for all six of George Lucas's Star Wars movies. He also would write the score for Episode VII of Stars Wars as well. Williams has won five Academy Awards and received numerous nominations.

If you have a ticket, lucky you.  The show is sold out. If you make it, let us know your thoughts....and may The Force Be With You.
