The Ku Klux Klan Joins in on the Retaliation Against the Westboro Baptist Church Over Picketing Newtown, Connecticut Funerals

The Westboro Baptist Church isn't widely known for being what many think of when they hear the word 'church'. The group is extreme and targets homosexuality by picketing funerals including soldiers, 9/11, Ronnie James Dio and now the victims of the Newtown, Connecticut shooting.

The Westboro Baptist Church recently met backlash by the Internet group Anonymous who are mainly Internet trolls and people with too much time on their hands. They lurk in the dark corners of the Internet on a message board called 4Chan, but also use their knowledge for good.

The Internet group recently published the personal information of those in the Westboro Baptist Church online in retaliation of their announcement they would be protesting the funerals of the children killed in the Sandy Hook school shooting.

Member Shirley Phelps-Roper wrote on Twitter: “Westboro will picket Sandy Hook Elementary School to sing praise to God for the glory of his work in executing his judgment.” A member of Anonymous has obviously hacked and taken over her account.

Now on that bandwagon is the Ku Klux Klan, or the KKK, once again counter-protesting the Westboro Baptist Church in Connecticut.
