The Darkness Opt for Outdoor Fun With ‘All the Pretty Girls’ Video
It's quite possible that The Darkness' "All the Pretty Girls" will bring new meaning to the term "surf guitar." But that's only part of the good times the band had during their recent video shoot for the new single "All the Pretty Girls"
Justin Hawkins and his cohorts shot the video along the Cornish shoreline, having some fun with tractors, jet skis, a banana boat and even a tennis court during their infinitely fun new clip.
Hawkins says of the promo, “Dear People of the Internet. We have made this excellent video to distract you from thehumdrum banality of existence. By looking at film of The Darkness preening and cavorting, you will be transported to an unattainable world of awesomeness. Furthermore, we recommend that you purchase our new record album, for which the above video serves as an amuse-bouche. Enjoy!”
The band recently released "All the Pretty Girls" as the lead single from their new album, Pinewood Smile. The disc is due Oct. 6 and the song is available via all streaming platforms and available to download with pre-orders for the set. Head here to get those orders in now.
Meanwhile, you can look for The Darkness back out on tour later this year. See their European tour dates here.
