The 34th annual Toy Run will take place Saturday December 7th starting at 9am. This event is open to all motorcycles and your entry fee is just a new unwrapped toy. You can help make a child’s Christmas a little brighter with the simple gift of a toy.

Registration will start at Grand Junction Harley-Davidson at 9am and Band of Brothers will hook us up with hot coffee and donuts that morning. Then at noon the big jolly elf will lead the pack to Grand Mesa Middle School to drop off the toys.

All of the toys donated will stay right here in Mesa County and will be distributed by the Army National Guard. Last year over 1,200 families where helped by the Toy Run and this year the need is even higher. If you are a family in need or if you know someone the last day to get them on the list is December 6th and you can get more information at the Salvation Army.

Then everyone is invited to Cactus Canyon for the after party. There will be food, door prizes and live music with Jack & Jill.

If you can’t make the Toy Run you can always pick a new unwrapped toy and drop it off in one of the many barrels around town. This is a great event that I have been proud to part of for the past 12 years so please pick a new toy and put a smile of child’s face this Christmas.
