Cool New Taproom in Colorado Has a Pond Outside and a John Deere Inside

If you're looking for a unique place to relax and have a beer, you'd better put this spot on your list. 12 beers from the area on tap, and a very soothing atmosphere, which includes a pond outside.

This new spot took about three months to come together, but now that the work has finished, the time has come for you to sit and enjoy. You can grab a bite to eat, you can watch one or more games going on, or you could play a game, yourself.

This taproom's location was once a sales office for the development that it sits within. Where once, people came in, sat in front of a desk, and signed paperwork, paperwork will be the least of your worries, now. Then again, bring in your laptop; you can have a beer while getting some "stuff" done.

Take a look at that bar; you know you want to "saddle up" and have a brew. It would be hard to argue with that, as the bar just draws you in. Welcome to the new Ted's Taproom, located at Ted's Sweetwater Grill, located within the Raindance community. The taproom is open to the public, and there is outdoor seating that looks out to the mountains, with a pond.

This area was indeed the former sales office for RainDance; that office closed on December 31, 2023, and work began to transform the space into a "bar." This taproom is very laid back, but ready for your gang to come in and have some fun.

The atmosphere is "ranch-style," as you see a lot of finished wood, wheels, and saddles throughout the bar; there is also a piece of a John Deere tractor. Ted's wanted to honor the agricultural heritage that Northern Colorado has when they created the space.

The back of the bar, itself, is where you'll find that John Deere. I can see sitting at the bar, looking at that tractor, and feeling that I'm kicking back in "grandpa's" barn for a cold one, or two.

When you take a look at the list of beers that they carry on tap, though they'll change here and there, they are all local beers. The list above includes Crow Hop Brewing from Loveland, Horse & Dragon Brewing from Fort Collins, Sweetwater Brewing in Fort Collins, and Bootstrap Brewing out of Niwot.

Why not grab a beer and shoot a game of shuffleboard?

Maybe you'd rather just "watch" a game. They have seven TVs scattered throughout the taproom, so don't worry about missing out.

Located in south Windsor, Ted's Sweetwater Grill & Taproom is easy to find, just east of Colorado Boulevard and Crossroads Boulevard.

Do not forget to take your beer to the patio, and soak in that Colorado air.
