Lord knows that many of the musicians taking part in this year's Revolver Golden Gods have done their fair share of interviews overs the years, but in the commercial for the 2013 ceremony, they get to experience life from the other side of the microphone in what amounts to the world's most metal press conference.

Anthrax's long-awaited, much-anticipated 2013 covers EP, 'Anthems,' will see a March 19 release date, and to keep the buzz going, a "Viral Video Version" of the band's take on the Rush classic 'Anthem' has made its way onto YouTube.

Anthrax are still going strong on their 'Worship Music' album and will soon offer a new collection called 'Anthems' that's full of cover songs, but the thoughts of a new album have begun to enter the minds of the band's members as well. Twisted Sister's Dee Snider was subject to a little skewering Thursday night (Jan. 24), but it was all for a good cause as the Revolver / Guitar World Rock & Roll Roast raised funds for the MusiCares organization.

Outspoken Twisted Sister vocalist Dee Snider will have the tables turned on him on Jan. 24 when he becomes the subject of the 2nd Annual 'Rock & Roll Roast' taking place in Anaheim, Calif. The musician will be lovingly skewered by peers such as Zakk Wylde, Anthrax's Scott Ian and Lita Ford, as well as several comedians and celebrities.

There were a lot of people not exactly happy when it was revealed that the inaugural Mayhem Cruise, which was scheduled for later this year, was canceled, and that goes beyond just those who had made arrangements to attend. Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian says the news was a bit of a surprise to him as well.
