Orchard Mesa

The 'Donald the Dragon Slayer' mural on Orchard Mesa has seen some better days. After a number of facelifts and upgrades, the artwork has fallen victim to vandals and/or the elements.

Recently, I had some fun with Clifton, the area that my family calls home. My family loves Clifton even though it's very quirky. Some of the responses were beyond hilarious. Some of them also showed something that is so very Grand Junction. People in this area are very proud of their "burb".

There is a very real shortage of umpires for little league baseball in Orchard Mesa and they want to know if you could help out? Little league baseball is as American as apple pie or fireworks on the 4th of July and without umpires its pretty hard to have a quality game for the kids.
