A "large flash of light" was spotted in the night sky!

It isn't exactly the magic of Christmas, but there are two stellar celestial events happening tonight and into the early morning hours tomorrow, (December 13-14) but will Colorado miss them?

Western Colorado skywatchers and stargazers should be watching for shooting stars this week.

Friday night a meteor shot over Manhattan and broke up over the east Village. The fireball streaked across the sky and was visible from many states along the Eastern Seaboard.
