Gunnison Colorado

It's that time of year again. It's the time of year when Colorado communities frequently experience the lowest temperature in the contiguous United States. That was the case this morning, Monday, December 13, 2021.

We did it again. The mighty state of Colorado recorded the lowest temperature in the nation yesterday.

Right on Western Colorado, we did it again. We were #1 at being the coldest place in the contiguous United States this morning.

Congratulations, Colorado. We were the best at being the worst on Wednesday when we had the coldest temperature in the nation.

Mountain bikes, cross-country skiers, hikers, dirt bikes, horses, snowmobiles, and four-wheelers are all welcome to join in the fun. Hartman Rocks in Gunnison, Colo is a great spot for the outdoorsman.

The ghost of Engine 107, an old steam locomotive from the late 1800's that made a run through Western Colorado, still haunts the tracks just outside of Grand Junction. Have you seen it?
