A teacher who helped raise $40,000 at the beginning of the pandemic for families just got hit with a hefty tax bill.

Senate Bill 163, called the School Entry Immunization bill has passed out of the House Health and Insurance committee with seven democrats voting in favor and four republicans voting against it.

Lawmakers in Colorado are not changing the state's immunization laws this session.
