Big Horn Sheep

We were lucky enough to see desert bighorn sheep on the Colorado National Monument recently and here are the pictures to prove it.

The bears are out, the rattlesnakes are waking up and we've seen video of mountain lions roaming neighborhoods, but this is different.

This bighorn sheep ram is very protective.

A couple of hoodlum big horn sheep broke into a Glenwood Springs business then quickly fled the scene.

I checked off my list one of the things I've wanted to do since moving here. I had my first Big Horn Sheep sighting.
