It’d take a pretty big crisis to gather the likes of Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl (from another universe), leaving The CW to assemble a pretty major threat. And while the big four-way crossover remains well under wraps, it seems one major threat will unite the four, rather than different big bads for each installment.
The CW’s joint ‘Arrow’ and ‘The Flash’ panel from yesterday’s TCA press tour brought with it plenty of scoop on either superhero, but also news that their small-screen DC-verse would expand with a ‘Vixen’ animated series, and potentially another spinoff for the network. Speculation has flown in every direction, but is Brandon Routh’s Ray Palmer character the one super-sizing his own spinoff for “The Atom”?
The other day we nodded in approval at the rumor of a potential 'Supergirl' TV series to bolster both DC's presence on television and the need for more female-led superhero properties, though few details were available. Now, sources confirm the project in development under 'Arrow' producer Greg Berlanti, though the series may end up with a new title, and new take on the character altogether.
For many collectors, Comic-Con International means an opportunity to get stuff, and DC Collectibles seems more than happy to oblige. This week the company revealed a truly massive amount of toys and other products that will be available later this month in San Diego, including a super-posable Harley Quinn action figure in Bruce Timm's Batman: The Animated Series style and a new Wonder Woman statue designed by current series artist Cliff Chiang.
Other offerings include a series of Batman figures designed by Greg Capullo that include Zero Year's purple-gloved Batman, a line of Arkham Knight action figures in which Harley Quinn is rocking a truly hilarious tutu, a line of action figures for the CW's Arrow that will feature both a shirtless and hoodie-wearing version of the vigilante archer, and a piece we're nicknaming "The Hills Are Alive With the Sound of Superman."

After weeks of speculation, last night's 'Arrow' season 2 installment "Suicide Squad" gave fans an unexpected treat in featuring a sly cameo from fan-favorite Batman villain Harley Quinn. The character went unnamed (save for one very recognizable voice!), but see for yourself with Harley Quinn's cameo among the "Suicide Squad' of the 'Arrow'-verse!
It's a tale as old as time, that Hollywood studios release full glamor shots of their suited superheroes just before set photos leak the look in a much less flattering light. So too is it with The CW's 'Arrow' spinoff 'The Flash,' which yesterday gave us a supercharged look at the Scarlet Speedster, before much more detailed photos of Grant Gustin's costume in broad daylight have emerged from the
