Salvation Army Family Store Opening

The Salvation Army is opening their new Family Store and you're invited to the special ribbon-cutting grand opening celebration.

Thursday, February 16th at 10 a.m., 240 North Avenue here in Grand Junction (formerly Harbert Lumber) is the location of the new Salvation Army Family Store. It's a grand opening party complete with refreshments and drawings for gift certificates.

The new store is double the size of their old location with lots of room with plenty of parking. There's even a book room with free coffee! You heard right, free coffee! The shelves are stocked, the racks filled, and their friendly staff is ready to help you find all the things you need to get your home and wardrobe ready for spring!

Store hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Donations are accepted at the west side of the building from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
