Rifle Falls Is A Great Adventure Off The Beaten Path (PHOTOS)

Rifle Falls State Park is not the most convenient area in the world to get to. It's a hidden gem that requires some creative driving after you get off of I-70, but the reward is a place of solace with waterfalls that not only take your breath away but allow you to go behind them.

I took my family there this weekend and while there wasn't a ton to do other than gawk at the waterfalls, we're glad we took the time. Be aware that many of the hiking trails are pretty rough and in some cases, steep. But, this is one exit off the beaten path that we're glad we took.
