Redlight King, Making of ‘Born to Rise’ Video – Exclusive Premiere
For those who've seen Redlight King's new 'Born to Rise' video, you know it comes with a fair share of motorcycle stunt riding. Now Redlight King have created a "behind-the-scenes" clip that shows you how they pulled off the creation of the 'Born to Rise' video and it's exclusively premiering here at Loudwire.
It was equal parts work and play for pro stunt Harley Rider Buddy Suttle, who stated, "We rode together with Kaz from Redlight King and filmed for three days all over Southern California. Riding through the hills around the Pala Casino with a helicopter flying over us filming is something I will never forget, it was a surreal experience. Ripping through the streets of San Diego with Chip and our homies from San Diego Customs was awesome. It was fun getting to ride my motorcycle with some of my best friends for a rad band, with some of the best camera equipment around, being shot by a filmer, Jay Schweitzer, I’ve looked up to for years -- not a bad deal."
The clip, which stars Redlight King frontman Kaz, has the singer displaying his 1950 Panhead motorcycle as a number of Harley-Davidson riders join in his adventure. The vocalist added, "I'm a musician, a hotrodder and a motorcycle fanatic. So hanging out with great people and riding my motorcycle for a few days while we filmed was the most fun I’ve ever had making a video.” In addition to the aforemention Buddy Suttle, fellow Unknown Industries pro stunt Harley riders Nick Leonetti and Kade Gates also make guest appearances in the promo.
The Strati Horvatos-directed video can be seen below, but for a more in-depth view of how it all came together, check out the exclusive "making of" video posted above. We've also got exclusive still photos from the shoot which can be seen at the bottom of this post. 'Born to Rise' is featured on the newly released Redlight King album, 'Irons in the Fire,' which can be purchased at iTunes.
