North Carolina Man Covers His SUV With Over 50,000 Pennies
What was your "look at me item?" I shared on the show that my brother likes to wear bow ties for no reason at all. This old guy took it to a whole different level.
North Carolina man Larry Hall is turning heads, as he has covered his 2000 Chevy Blazer in 51,300 pennies. This task took about seven hours a day for about seven weeks and 80 tubes of silicone glue to attach the big chunk of change. The pennies do still fall off from time to time, but Hall just glues them back on, saying the car was quite an investment of time and money.
Although it may not make cents to some, Hall is so proud of his work he drives around with a sign in the back window naming the car "The Penny Wagon."
