New Tattoo Shop Opening Tomorrow in Grand Junction
A new tattoo shop is opening tomorrow in Grand Junction. First Street Tattoo at 1119 N 1st Street Unit B is having their grand opening party tomorrow.
Grand Junction is getting another tattoo shop and this one is off of 1st Street. First Street Tattoo Parlor is opening with a bang -- or maybe more like a flash. The tattoo shop is having their grand opening party starting tomorrow through Saturday, Dec. 14.
The shop will have hundreds of flash tattoos available, piercings and a variety of clothing and art vendors there who will be doing demos. First Street Tattoo stated on their event page that tattoos and piercings will be done on a first come first serve basis. You can get tatted up (or pierced) from noon until close, which is noon until midnight during their grand opening. Their normal hours depend on appointments and walk-ins.
They also stated on their Facebook that:
We are bringing Phil and Mike out from Fancy Rooster Tattoo in Monstrose, along with Brad Anderson from Praying Mantis in Dever to handle the overflow, but be sure to get here early to ensure yourself a new tattoo.
We talked to First Street Tattoo and they said they're celebrating their grand opening the Friday the 13th way. This means they're doing flash tattoos, which they described at that old school street style where you come in, pick one out and get tatted.
First Street Tattoo also told me that their tattoos will be $100 a pop and they have 600 designs available. They're also offering piercing and their neighbors, No Coast Sushi, also have some delicious specials going on during the grand opening too.
