New Study Says Colorado is 6th Happiest State in America

247wallst.com's report shows that Colorado is the sixth “Happiest State in America”.

24/7 Wall St.’s “Happiest States in America” annual report tries to measure happiness by capturing how residents feel about their lives and daily experiences.

The study has 5 categories: social relationships, financial security, relationship to community, physical health, and career prospects.

According to 247wallst.com, the general patterns of well-being remain in place.  Colorado has continued to be top 10 since 2008.

> Adults in near perfect physical health: 40.8% (7th highest)
> Adults who learned or do something interesting every day: 50.1% (4th highest)

> Poverty rate: 10.3% (14th highest)
> Violent crime rate: 368 per 100,000 people (9th highest)
