A vintage motorcycle event is returning to Montrose this June, and you should most definitely attend. Here are five reasons why you should enter your bike in the show.

I received a call earlier this morning from the event's organizer. According to him, the Unknown Motorcycle Show is on for 2021. Looking at the event's official webpage, it reads, "We're excited to announce Montrose, Colorado will host the show for the 2nd year in 2021!"

The Unknown Motorcycle Show is coming to Cerise Park in Montrose on Saturday, June 5, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You'll enjoy tons of vintage bikes, incredible artwork, and live music.

Unknown Motorcycle Show Returns to Montrose

So, why should you set aside your valuable time to attend? There are countless things you could do on a Saturday in June. Well, these are my top five reasons why you should gather up the whole family and make plans to attend.

  • It's free to attend... .and there isn't much of that going around, now is there?
  • This is a FAMILY event, with something for everyone
  • Live music with Western Colorado's very own Desert Flyer Band
  • The bikes are absolutely magnificent.... there's a good chance you'll see the bike of your dreams
  • This is a LOCAL event showcasing the best Western Colorado has to offer

Whereas last year's event was held in downtown Montrose, the 2021 event is moving to Cerise Park. With any luck (fingers crossed) the new amphitheater will be up and running by June.

This is an awesome event, hence the reason why it has been running for close to 15 years. I plan to bring my late mother's 1980 Honda TwinStar 200 and enter it in the show. The bike has just over 2,000 original miles and is in showroom condition. I get a kick out of putting it in shows.
