MMA Fighter Calls Timeout and Leaves the Cage

I have been watching mixed martial arts for years and I can say I have never seen anything like this. Claudinei Angelo was taking a beating in the ring and spit out his mouthpiece in hopes to get a stoppage in the fight. The referee didn’t stop the action and have happened next is just silly.

When Angelo couldn’t get a pause in the fight he just called timeout. Now there isn’t a timeout in MMA fighting unless the fight is stopped. He then tries the door and guess what it was locked, so he jumped the cage and just left.

I guess if you can’t stand the heat stay out of the kitchen.
