Mesa County Facilities + Parks Closing Parks + Pavilions

The Mesa County Facilities and Parks is closing parks and pavilions for the next 30 days due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Below are the following recreational facilities that Mesa County is closing:

Facilities Closures:

• Long Family Memorial Park Pavilions
• Long Family Memorial Park Grand Mesa Restroom Facility. Mt Garfield's restroom facility will remain open to the public.
• Lions Park Pavilions
• Lions Park Seasonal Restrooms

Park Closures:

• All Mesa County Park’s/Fields to any sports play, practice or groups 10 or more.
  • LongFamilyMemorialPark o Veterans Memorial Park
  • Lion Park
  • Lynwood Park
  • Village Nine Park
  • Kimwood Park
  • Rocky Mountain Elementary Park

The City of Grand Junction Parks & Recreation office will issue refunds of pavilion rentals for Long Family Memorial Park.
