The Community Services Building for the Mesa County Department of Human Services is being closed to the public until further notice.

The closure means the lobby is closed and also affects the operation of Mesa County Child Welfare as well as Public Assistance and Child Support services.

Many services can be conducted online such as applying for medical, food, cash, and early childhood assistance programs.  You can learn more about how services are currently being provided on the MCDHS website.

Several economic services programs can be conducted by phone, fax, mail, or email including:

  • Child Support Services
  • Food Assistance/SNAP
  • Health First Colorado/Medicaid
  • Old Age Pension
  • Aid to the Needy Disabled
  • Colorado Works (TANF)
  • Medicaid Transportation
  • Repayment Agreements
  • Bus Pass
  • EBT Cards

The Mesa County Workforce Center has been closed since Wednesday. Job seekers and employer services can be accessed online.
