You may have been so excited about the arrival of spring in the Grand Valley and didn't notice we have another huge lottery jackpot.

Big Jackpot

The Megamillions jackpot from the Colorado Lottery is up to $402 million for tonight's drawing. That is definitely life-changing money - and it's up for grabs. No, your odds aren't great of winning it, but they are as good as everyone else's.

Everybody loves to dream about what they would do if they won the lottery. It certainly can't hurt to be prepared, just in case those bouncing lottery balls go your way.  What would you do with all that money? The cash option is $272 million -which is also life-changing money - and I realize taxes are involved here,  but what exactly could you do with more than $400 million? Here's my list of 15 stupid things I would do if I win the jackpot.

Plenty of Cash Leftover

In case you don't have a calculator handy, I'll do the math for you.  All of those things combined would cost less than $4,000,000. No doubt, your list would look a lot different. Even if you aren't a math wizard you can figure out that you still have plenty of money left over to give to charity, to family, and for your month-to-month living expenses.  The point is, $400 million is a ridiculous amount of cash and someone could win it tonight. It could be you, and it might be me. You might as well go ahead and make your list - just in case.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
