Colorado is wild in many different ways and whether it's a fox, deer, elk, mountain lion, bear, etc., you just never know what you're going to encounter around these parts.
In 2021, collisions with wildlife increased around 5.5 percent, according to the Colorado State Patrol so this can serve as a friendly reminder to always stay alert, follow the speed limit and drive safely.
