Air Ambulance Used After Colorado Climber Falls 30 Feet
A man fell about 30 feet while rock climbing at Button Rock Preserve on Tuesday (April 28).
According to a press release from The Boulder County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred around 3:56 p.m. near Longmont Dam Road, after which the climber's partner notified a Button Rock Ranger.
The injured climber was stabilized and carried about 100 feet to an air ambulance.
The 24-year-old was then transported to an area hospital. The rescue took about 70 minutes.
