Louisville Guard Kevin Ware Breaks Leg (Video)

Easter night Louisville over-came the #2 seed Duke Blue Devils and the loss of guard Kevin Ware to punch their ticket to the 2013 Final Four.With 6:33 to go in the first half Duke’s Tyler Thornton got the ball on the wing and pulled up for a 3-point jumper, he hit the shot to pull Duke within one, but Kevin Ware who rolled out to contest the shot landed awkwardly and broke his leg.

In a scene reminiscent of Joe Theismann, Ware broke is leg pushing the femur 6 inches out of his skin. Louisville was able to compose themselves and put Duke away to win the regional and advance to the Final Four.
