Longs Peak Wind Chill Predicted at -42 Degrees Tonight
Mountain-Forecast.com is predicting dangerously cold temperatures for Longs Peak on Tuesday night as temperatures dip to -28, with a wind chill of -42 degrees.
Temperatures in Northern Colorado will drop to possible record lows on Tuesday as a second blast of severe weather moves into Colorado. The storm, which is expected to last through Wednesday, will put the entire state under a Severe Weather Alert.
Colorado Department of Transportation is advising residents to leave work early Tuesday as driving conditions are expected to deteriorate for the afternoon commute.
