LOOK: The Least Expensive House For Sale Right Now in Grand Jct
Are you looking for a new home in Grand Junction? Take a look at the least expensive house on the market right now.
How much are you willing to spend? Probably as little as possible. If you search Grand Junction top to bottom, you won't find anything cheaper.
The website Realtor.com currently lists over 700 properties for sale in the Grand Junction area. Out of them all, this is the most affordable. Please note, when I say house, I mean the kind that doesn't feature wheels.
There are homes for sale for less, but this particular property is the most affordable "stand-alone" house on the market as of Tuesday, March 23, 2021.
Okay, how much?
This house is listed at $125,000. Is that a good deal? I'm not sure. I was born in this town. I can remember a time when you could buy a nice home with plenty of land for $20,000. Okay, so that was 1971.
What are the specs?
The house is listed as:
- 520 square feet
- 1 bed
- 1 bath
- 0.31 acre lot
- Built in 1900
Okay, Waylon, you deal in real estate. What do you think?
I think it's affordable. I also think it has tremendous potential. Check out the photos in the gallery. The kitchen looks nice, and appears to have been updated. The appliances are excellent. The size is right for a single person or a couple.
Trust me, "affordable" counts. There's not much worse in this world than being house-poor. It's a miserable abyss and takes years to dig yourself out of. This house features a reasonable price for a home on a good chunk of land. The possibilities are endless. Imagine what all you could do with this home.
What about using it as an investment?
Why not? The location is right. Add to that the affordable price, and you have an opportunity. Trust me, I've paid more for less.
Why not take a tour?
Please click through the gallery below. I'm confident you'll see the potential. As I've stated before, I am not a realtor and do not get paid to publish posts such as this. I have an interest in Grand Junction area real estate. Whereas most people at the station enjoy posting about the most expensive properties for sale, I prefer the opposite.
