Landlord Spanks Tenant Over Late Rent
A man once seen as an upstanding business owner and citizen in Ohio was busted for spanking his tenant. The landlord wasn't happy about his unpaid rent, so he decided to take action. By using corporal punishment against a grown man.
The victim, a 29-year old anonymous man, said his landlord hit him with a belt on his bare butt. His landlord, Ron Kronenberger was the 2006 Waynesville Ohio's Citizen of the Year. Ron owns the Hometown Marketplace in Jamestown, Ohio.
He and his tenant allegedly disputed over rent, which turned into his tenant with his pants down and bent over Ron's desk at his store. Ron allegedly told the victim before he spanked him four-times with his belt, "If you're going to act like a child, I'm going to treat you like one."
The victim told police, "He was scared and just wanted to get it over with." The police contacted Ron who admitted to the whipping of his tenant over $2,800 in late rent.
