Kid Rock has announced a run of U.S. shows that he's calling the "Red Blooded Rock N Roll Redneck Extravaganza" tour. The announcement came as he was inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame in New Orleans last night (Apr. 6).

He'll hit 15 cities (see below) between Aug. 3 in Bangor, Maine and Oct. 13 at the Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, Fla. Tickets and VIP packages go on sale to the general public this Friday (April 14) at 10AM local time, with a pre-sale beginning on Tuesday (April 10) at 10AM local time. Check Rock's website for full details.

Rock, who staged a fake Senate run last year, used his acceptance speech to make another political point, saying he wanted to “body slam some Democrats,” even though, as he said, he had been told to not bring up politics during his speech.

Before the event he told Billboard, “Every time I go to a WWE event I always have a good time; there is nothing like it and no better fans in the world. The Hall of Fame ceremony will be a fun night and it will be great to see everyone again. I have so much respect for what those guys and girls do. I’m grateful to WWE for letting me be a part of WrestleMania weekend.”

His 2018 tour plans were the subject of legal action after he attempted to use the title “The Greatest Show on Earth,” which is a registered trademark of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
