A Weld County contractor is facing up to 66 years behind bars after he got caught stealing from his clients over the course of a three-year span.

At his court appearance on August 22, 46-year-old Jamie Bock was found guilty of scamming more than a dozen victims in Northern Colorado. In total, the contractor stole approximately $150k from people that he was hired by and now faces nine counts of theft.

Between November 14 and August 2017, Bock posted job ads on the internet, where he offered various services, including building pole barns, fences, and concrete work. After making contact with potential clients, Bock would then collect a large amount of money for what he said was going towards material costs and a downpayment. However, Bock would never follow through to finish any of the jobs he started.

Bock will be back in court for a sentencing hearing at 1 p.m. on October 10.
