The oldest Grand Junction in America is located in Hardeman and Fayette counties in Tennessee. Grand Junction, Tennessee was founded in 1854. Today the population is around 335 residents.
Grand Junction, Tennessee is famous for being the Bird Dog Capital of the World. The town hosts the National Field Trial Championships at the Ames Plantation every year and is home to the National Bird Dog Museum.
The Grand Junction with the Most Blueberries
Not far from the Lake Michigan coastline sits the Grand Junction with the most blueberries. Grand Junction, Michigan, is known as the blueberry capital of the state. Founded in December of 1871, this Grand Junction has a population of roughly 4,135 residents.
Grand Junction, Michigan isn't far from Kal-Haven Trail State Park, a popular 34-mile biking and hiking trail connecting South Haven and Kalamazoo.
The Flattest Grand Junction
Grand Junction, Iowa, was incorporated in 1873. Today there are about 720 residents living in this small town located near the center of the state. Grand Junction, Iowa, is named for the intersection of the Chicago & Northwestern and Minneapolis & St. Louis railroads.
It sits just off the historic Lincoln Highway, America’s first transcontinental road, and is home to an annual celebration they call 'Junction Days.'
