The wheel is a part of the North Pole Santa's Workshop near the base of Pikes Peak. The ride sits at 7,500 feet above sea level, making it the highest Ferris Wheel in the United States.
The Ferris Wheel at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Glenwood Springs has an elevation of about 7,100 feet above sea level.

This fun theme park has been locally owned and operated by members of the Haggard family who opened the theme park in 1956. Santa's Workshop is open from May to Christmas Eve.
