3 New Grand Junction Restaurants Locals Need to Know
Downtown Grand Junction is wrapping up summer with some new restaurant buzz, and it’s not just coming from one new place to eat. We’ve got three new establishments to try and one relocation to tell you about that we’ve not yet mentioned.

Bistro 317 Brings the French-Bistro Experience to Main Street

Bistro 317 opened earlier this year at 317 Main Street (the old Le Rouge Restaurant). They offer a French-inspired dining experience in the heart of downtown. The restaurant describes itself as a family-owned neighborhood bistro, featuring French-style food, pastries, and drinks. Bistro 317 also serves throughout the day, with breakfast and pastries in the morning, lunch, happy hour, wine and cocktails, and dinner, making it an option for everything from a morning coffee and croissant to an evening meal. The Roost Adds Mediterranean-Inspired Food to Downtown
The Roost: Kitchen and Bar is located at 225 N. Fifth Street, Suite 105. Their menu offers both Mediterranean flavors and American comfort food. That combination gives the restaurant a menu that has something for everyone. The Roost's arrival also adds another dining option to a part of downtown where locals can easily combine a meal with shopping, entertainment, or an evening out. The Roost occupies the space that was once Bin 707 Foodbar in the Alpine Bank building.
Tiki Bird Brings Globally Inspired Chicken to Seventh Street

Tiki Bird is located at 119 N. Seventh Street, in the former Junct'n Square Pizza location, and its menu gives chicken a global twist. Diners can find flavors inspired by Thai, jerk, tikka, and Southern fried chicken, while the restaurant's beverage program leans into the tiki theme with tropical cocktails and other drinks. The restaurant also features indoor and outdoor spaces designed for different experiences, making it more than simply a place to grab a plate of chicken.
I see that Junct’n Square Pizza seems to have settled in at the former 626 on Rood space. I had not heard they had plans to do so. It’s a welcome sight to see them back inside a space downtown.
