There's an annual event in Loveland, Colorado, that has "Mayberry" written all over it and helps with keeping seniors active.

When you hear about this event, you might envision an episode of The Andy Griffith Show, where Aunt Bee needs Andy and Opie's help on the upcoming weekend for the "big" event she's a part of.

Loveland's annual Pancake Breakfast & Plant Sale has been going on for what seems like, "forever," every spring.

What is Loveland's Pancake Breakfast & Plant Sale?

It's an event at Loveland's Chilson Recreation Center where folks show up for a breakfast and to buy some plants; it's pretty simple, pretty "Mayberry."

Generations of Lovelanders have taken part in the Loveland Pancake Breakfast & Plant Sale, with many more generations to come. Aunt Bee and Andy would be proud.
