If You Love Danger in Colorado, Ski These 3 Runs
Tens of thousands of people hit the ski slopes of Colorado each season; how many of them are looking for this kind of adrenaline? Colorado is fortunate (or not so fortunate) to have three resorts listed on this list.
Of course, only a rare few ski enthusiasts are going to be checking out these slopes, but it's fun to know where you can find danger if you're looking for it. Maybe there'll come a time in your life where you say, "I'm ready."'
You better make sure your emergency contact and insurance information are up to date before going to "shred," at these spots.
Colorado Ski Resorts Included in 'Most Dangerous' List
Granted, the list is subjective; everyone has their own list of what the "hardest" or "scariest" ski runs are. This list was compiled by the gang at Uncovering Skiing, who critique (in all sorts of ways) ski resorts from across the world.
Given that, it's interesting to note that of the 10 Most Dangerous Ski Runs in North America, three of them are in Colorado; Colorado was the only state to have three on the list, which also includes Canada (hence, 'North America.)
Dangerous Ski Runs in Colorado Not For the Uninitiated
These are runs for serious skiers; those who like to meander down a run, then hit the lodge for drinks are encouraged to do so, and not take any of these runs on. These are runs where you might have to hike to where you start, that is serious.

Having Rambo as the Most Dangerous Ski Run in North America will not come as s surprise to those who have attempted it. Many have only heard of the ferocious run.
From Crested Butte:
Often referred to as the steepest lift-serviced tree-cut run in the U.S., Rambo gets a lot of hype with its continuous fall line and sheer drop.
