Could This Little Radio Station In Colorado Have a Ghost?
Some radio stations in Colorado operate out of big, luxurious buildings that are relatively new. Some stations, like ours, operate out of an old, old building.
Old buildings have a lot of history; histories that the current occupants know nothing about. Could our building, in Downtown Windsor, have some sort of past that would make a ghost want to "visit?"
Maybe the ghost doesn't like our choice in music.
Is a Ghost Being Mischievous at a Radio Station in Colorado?
Our radio stations (there are five) operate out of a building at 600 Main Street in the heart of Downtown Windsor. The thing is, the building hasn't always been a radio station.
Our building being a radio station dates back to the 1980s when there was just 99.1 FM; decades later, there are four more radio stations in the building.

Before radio was being conducted inside, the building held at least a few other businesses, including being a lumberyard and a video store. Who knows what else has gone on inside 600 Main, it's not like there's a diary floating around.
Is 600 Main in Windsor, Haunted?
I've worked at the radio station(s) since 1997; while I haven't seen a ghost in my time here, I do believe one is making its presence known in a few ways:
- Security Alarm Being Set Off. It's been happening more frequently, where "something" is setting off the motion sensor alarms in the building in the middle of the night.
- "Buzzing" in the Signal. Even you may have heard a weird "buzzing" in our signals; that "buzzing" is coming from inside the building, but we can't track it down.
- The Utility Closet Door. This is a big one - we have a small, dirty utility closet that mostly holds cleaning supplies. For years, we come in and the door to that closet is ajar, as below. No person is opening that door.
Should we have a paranormal team come in a give us a "listen?"
