With Hooters seeing trouble, the ones in Colorado may be in trouble (the one in Colorado Springs closed after 35 years in April of 2025;) it looks like we'll be seeing more Twin Peaks, however.

Investor Signs Deal to Open Several New Twin Peaks in the Denver Area

I've only been to a Twin Peaks one time, the one at Flatirons Crossing in Broomfield. They're definitely "Hooters, but different." Twin Peaks is a sports bar with TVs, food, and beer, but instead of orange "Owl" outfits, the girls are dressed as lumberjacks.

Twin Peaks began in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 2005. By 2013 they were in 17 states. In 2020 they were bought out by FAT Brands, the company that owns Fatburger and Johnny Rockets, for $300 million

Where Hooters is play on Owls and women's features, Twin Peaks is a play on women's features and the wilderness. They both fall under the "breasteraunt" moniker.

Colorado having a Twin Peaks mountain range, is coincidence; a happy coincidence to some. The Twin Peaks model does fit the Colorado lifestyle more than the Hooters model, I'll admit. Soon, Colorado will be seeing more Twin Peaks popping up.

Is Twin Peaks Coming to Northern Colorado?

It was announced in 2024 that an investor, James Cha, had signed an area development deal to open at least three Twin Peaks in the Denver area. That area may include Fort Collins or Greeley, as they're both college towns.

As of spring of 2025 there are three Twin Peaks already in Colorado: Broomfield, Centennial and Lakewood. I can see Cha putting his three in Westminster (maybe Thornton,) Johnstown (at Johnstown Plaza) and Fort Collins near CSU.
