The spring of 2027 will see one of the biggest rock bands of the last 30 years hitting Colorado's legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Fans from around Denver, the Front Range, and the Western Slope will want tickets.

When is Matchbox Twenty's 30th Anniversary Tour Coming to Red Rocks?

Matchbox Twenty, along with The Wallflowers for the Denver show, will be at Red Rocks on Saturday,  May 22, 2027. I have a great "Matchbox Twenty at Red Rocks" story about accidentally knocking a full beer out of a man's hand as he walked by me just as I went to raise my arms up in the air as one of my favorite songs began. He wouldn't even take my money to buy another beer; classic.

An Artist Pre-Sale will happen on October 20, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., with the Public On Sale happening on October 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

Of course, this 30th Anniversary tour takes them back to the release of "Yourself of Someone Like You," in the fall of 1996. I remember playing "Push" a lot on the radio when I started here in the spring of 1997. I've tried to catch them live each time they've come to the Denver area.
