Popular in Denver, Mexican Restaurant Pulls Out of Fort Collins
For three years, this Mexican restaurant gave it their best, but they just couldn't capture the popularity that the three in the Denver area have achieved.
It's a shame, because Mexican food always seems to do well; many are saying the location, along with low foot traffic combined to the restaurant's closing. The chefs behind it, must be very disappointed.

Mexican Restaurant in Fort Collins Closes After Three Years
Their name references being bold and assertive; having started out in 2013, they were bold in growing, for sure. In March of 2024, they were noted as being one of the "6 Most-Famous Restaurants in Denver."
Up until the summer of 2024, they had four locations in Colorado, now they are down to just three.
Los Chingones opened in Fort Collins in the summer of 2021, off of Harmony Road and Lady Moon Drive, near DC Oakes and Harbinger Coffee. That location is now closed, as of August 25, 2024.

Will Another Legendary Colorado Mexican Restaurant Take Los Chingones' Place?
While it is indeed a shame that Los Chingones did not make it in Fort Collins, that spot could become a second Fort Collins location for Colorado's Illegal Pete's. One Reddit user commented that their waitress, mentioned that Pete's is "supposed to be" coming in.
