Former Fort Collins Pizza Joint to Become New Karaoke Bar
When a popular Colorado pizza joint decides to close a location that people have enjoyed, it can be rough; you wonder "what" will be taking the spot's place. Campus West in Fort Collins will be getting the city's first karaoke-focused bar.
What is the Karaoke Bar Coming to Campus West in Fort Collins?
In March of 2025, Krazy Karl's Pizza closed it's original location at Campus West (1128 West Elizabeth,) moving those operations over to their spot off of Timberline and Drake. Over a year after that, it was announced that "A Star is Born" Karaoke Cafe would be taking over the spot.
Who's Behind the New Karaoke Bar Coming to Campus West?
A Star is Born will be the third such karaoke bar created by Bryan Wallace; he opened Rumours Karaoke Cafe in Denver in 2022, and Rare Karaoke Cafe in Lone Tree in 2024, so, this isn't some "fly by night" business idea. This location, by the CSU campus and surrounding neighborhoods should do them well.
What are the Existing Karaoke Bars' Experiences Like?
The Rumours Karaoke Cafe has a full bar and full kitchen; it has public stages where you book the time that you (and your gang) want to watch/sing. They have private karaoke rooms as well, all named after Fleetwood Mac songs (Don't Stop, Go Your Own Way, Gold Dust Woman, and Songbird) that you can rent out.
